Mushroom Spread
If you are looking for an appetizer idea this is a great option. It’s easy to make and you can prepare in advance, who doesn’t like that? Also, it’s a one pot dish (if you exclude the strainer) so in my mom of 3 world this would be a perfect dish – minimum effort, no dishes to clean and tastes great.
The holidays are approaching so save this quick recipe for one of your gatherings.
Ingredients:
- 16 oz organic sliced canned mushrooms (you can also use fresh mushrooms, in that case you would need to clean, cut and boil them)
- 1 cup mayo
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chopped fresh dill
- 2-3 garlic cloves minced
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Place the mushrooms in the strainer and let them drain
- Put mushrooms to a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients, combine everything with a spoon and place in a serving bowl. You can refrigerate until serving.
Enjoy with chips or as a spread!
