Cauliflower Dip

One of my favorite dips and this was a good dish for my youngest (2 years old) to eat a good amount of garlic at the start of the cold season.

Cauliflower Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium cauliflower head
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cups sour cream (if you do not have sour cream you can use only mayo / the other way around works good too, if you are out of mayo use only sour cream)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cups dill
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Put the cauliflower florets in a pot and cover with water
  • Bring to boil and cook for about 10 minutes until florets are tender (I test it with a knife or fork)
  • Drain the cauliflower and set aside in the strainer for about 1h
  • Put cauliflower in a bowl and mash with a fork, add mayo/sour cream/garlic/ salt, pepper and dill and mix everything together
  • Enjoy with chips, pita or as a spread
