Since this is the pumpkin season I thought I would post a really easy dessert idea – Baked Pumpkin topped with butter, walnuts and sugar. My grandparents used to make this every fall.
You can use the pumpkin you usually use for pumpkin pie or any other kind that you prefer. You slice, clean the pumpkin seeds and bake it for about 30-45 minutes until the pumpkin is soft.
You can also use the baked pumpkin to make a savory side dish by adding salt and butter instead of sugar.
